01. Standard Return Window

For eligible change-of-mind returns, you may request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

02. Condition of Returned Goods

For a preference-based return, the item should generally be unused and in substantially the condition received, with its original components, accessories and protective packaging where available. Include an order number or proof of purchase. These requirements do not restrict statutory remedies for faulty or non-conforming products.

03. How to Request a Return

1. Email service@merrivan.com and include the order number.
2. Identify the product and explain the request.
3. For a defective, damaged or incorrect item, provide relevant photos where reasonably available.
4. Wait for Customer Care to provide the correct return address and instructions.
5. Pack the item securely and send it using the agreed method.

04. Kitchenware and Fragile Items

Bread boxes, ceramics, mixing bowls, colanders, glass items and organizers may require protective packing. For approved preference-based returns, include all pieces of a set and use suitable cushioning. Do not use cracked food-contact ware; contact us promptly if an item arrives damaged.

05. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders

Inspect your order when received and report a problem promptly. Include your order number, a description and relevant photos where reasonably available. When a problem attributable to us is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate remedy under applicable law, including any return-shipping responsibility required by law.

06. Return Shipping

For an approved change-of-mind return, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping unless applicable law or the provided instructions state otherwise. Shipping charged on the original order is generally non-refundable for preference-based returns unless law requires it. If we sent an incorrect or defective product, shipping-cost responsibilities will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

07. Return Destination

Do not send items to the company’s registered address without explicit instructions. The applicable return destination may depend on fulfillment location and the product. We will provide return details after reviewing your request.

08. Refund Review and Timing

After the applicable return has been received and reviewed, we will notify you of the decision. Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval. Bank or payment-provider posting may take longer; any mandatory earlier deadline applies where required by law.

09. Exchanges and Cancellations

Exchanges depend on inventory and the situation. We may suggest a return and a new order when a direct exchange is unavailable. For cancellations, contact us as soon as possible; we cannot guarantee cancellation once processing or dispatch begins.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits consumer guarantees, withdrawal rights or legal remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a mandatory right differs from the standard policy, applicable law controls.
